  1. Ya, I assume you're building a short barrel shotgun and not a short barrel rifle. @Benjamin Tactical Inc, did they reissue a new form noting your firearm as an SBS, or did they just respond with an OK do whatever you want with your AOW in a letter, or did you receive no response? Although your experience sounds great, we all know the ATF may give a completely different response to Kurt S if he tried to submit the same request on a Form 1. To answer the original question... Maverick made the receiver. Serbu made the AOW. If you are removing the AOW from the registry, then you're back to having a Maverick receiver. Maverick would be the manufacturer information on the Form 1 box 4a.
  2. I'm not a member but I help run the night shoots at Rosedale where full auto shooting is a common occurrence. I just confirmed the club does allow full auto for general members at any time. https://www.rosedalesportsmen.org/ There is a night shoot on December 2nd if you want to come see the club and meet one of the directors. The night shoot is mainly focused on guys with head mounted night vision or white light shooting their rifles, sub guns, and pistols, but we do have an "open range" portion of the evening where people just shoot at steel from the benches. Message me if you want more information. Washington County Machine Gun's range is another good option. Beaver Valley is also a nice facility. Greater PGH Gun Club out by the airport might allow MGs, I'm not sure. I think Pitcairn Monroeville allows them, but again I'm not certain.
  3. I think your price is spot on. Not a bargain, not overpriced. Try listing it in more places like the 1919 forum, WG, etc. That looks to be an SGMT charging handle, and the receiver might be an SGMT as well, not an SG43, just looking at the barrel lock wedge that is installed in the receiver. I see what appears to be an SG43 barrel lock wedge is also included. I'm not an expert on these though. Freedommachine on WG is pretty familiar with the differences between the SGMT and SG43.
  4. A friend of mine just experienced this. He amended his trust and submitted the correction to clarify the successor trustee is not an RP and then it was approved. We have an identical NFA trust and I had added this amendment to mine years ago, seems my friend overlooked it. The amendment starts like this: I __________ the Settlor of the “_______ Trust” established on __________wish to amend my Trust to reflect a change to the definition and role of Successor Trustee to clearly define that they are not a responsible party on my Trust. And then it goes on to clearly define successor trustee and yada yada. It's 2 pages. PM me your email if you want me to send you the whole text, but I am not a lawyer, or a trust expert, this is just what works for my friend and me.
  5. Recently got two approved paper form 4s, individual to trust. First was 403 days and 2nd was 436 days. That was painful.
  6. Edit, just re-read your post and saw it is heavy ball. I'm not sure what premium heavy ball commands, if any, but here is my take on light ball which I buy a good bit of: Assuming it is all light ball in good condition, no rust, etc, here is my opinion: Fast sell - 40 cents a round Fair price - 50 cents a round Sit on it awhile - 60 cents a round
  7. On my NFA Trust, I am the only trustee, and I am also the Settlor, or creator of the Trust. I put my title as Settlor on all ATF documents, as such. Sounds like this person is using Grantor interchangeably with Settlor.
  8. You're missing the "lower" part of the receiver and ring that holds the back of the tube.
  9. Wide range of value, see some discussion here: https://forums.g503.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=332865&hilit=75mm+howitzer I'm surprised they go more for 37mm M3 guns, which are a nice size and shootable, those seem to be pretty steady at 26k, but I guess the look and ability to break down the 75mm makes it more desirable. I've helped break one down and put it in a standard truck bed under a tonneau cover, it's still no easy task for one man. I think I would rather drag it up a small trailer to get it home if I had one. Get a small enclosed trailer if you want to be discreet about it.
  10. If you have a C&R FFL, and the MG is C&R eligible, a seller can Form 4 directly to you from another state, bypassing the dealer.
  11. Looks like they updated the averages: https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/current-processing-times Paper form 4 - 312 days Eform 4 - 232 days
  12. I've got two paper form 4s at 270 days. When they're approved does the buyer/transferee get any notification or does the paperwork just go to the seller/transferor, in this case an individual?
