  2. Looks like the atf isn't sending out new sot's unless you et ahold of the atf. I got this atf email response " We apologize for the delay. It will be mailed out tomorrow. Your SOT has been processed. Please remember that if your SOT renewal has been processed by ATF then your SOT is valid, and you can continue to do business even without the hard copy in hand. 9. Thanx frank, I read the same thing yesterday on the atf efile site right before it crashed. The site was working poorly then bam, it went out and is still out as of now. Not really suprising for a goverment website. R/s, Hiller..................................
  10. right. So what fingerprint companies support this format? UPS, sheriff office, ect.....????? R/s, Hiller........................................
  11. Where do I go to get my fingerprints scanned for the new eForms 4? UPS has fingerprint scanning as do most sheriff offices. Wondering which fingerprinting services will be acceptable by the atf efile? R/s, Hiller..........
  12. The 50 round drum I bought from Numrich has always worked perfectly. R/s, Hiller.............
  13. I’ve seen a few import stamped usgi M1 Carbines sell for over 1000 ea. And they went fast. 1400 to 1800 for a mixmaster post war rebuild seems to be the average price these days. I’ve personally sold several “nice” examples for well above 2000 per in the last twelve months. R/s, Hiller..........
  14. I'm looking to swap a Swedish M1937 I,m looking to swap a swedih pistol grip trigger housing into my m1918a2. Specific to the trigger housing and internal trigger housing parts. I've heard the trigger housing will interchange. and that the eject has to be modified when putting an m1918 ejector into a swedish housing. What about the springs, trigger, sear, safety lever, sear carrier, ect....? Any advise, R/s, Hiller.........................
  15. Averaging about week. R/s, Hiller................
  16. Why didn't I think of that! R/s, Hiller.......................
  17. I/m an ffl03/nfa firearms dealer. Thimking about adding wife as responsible person. I'm in good health but thought if anything were to unexpectedly happen to me, like I died or something bad happened, my wife would be able to liquidate my inventory. Is this good thinking or not? Would the e form 7 be adequate to accomplish things? R/s, Hiller.................................
  18. Had a 20 round mag dump runaway. Hxp ammo. So did a disassembly/inspection/reassembly. Rifle looked fine inside and out. Recoil spring had proper length and action was smooth and properly lubed. Chamber was clean. Paid special attention to trigger assembly and gas system. Thinking either the sear wasn’t grabbing the slide or there was insufficient gas pressure to drive the slide back far enough for the sear to catch. So I tried dummy rounds and the action worked fine. Set the change lever to single shot. Loaded 1 round in the 20 round mag and it fired and locked the bolt open. Loaded 2 rounds and it fired both with one pull of the trigger then locked the bolt back. Loaded 2 more in the 20 round mag and got the same results. Shot both rounds on one trigger pull then locked the bolt open. switched to a 30 round mag. Loaded 2 rounds. Now it changed to one round fired per trigger pull. Worked perfectly in single shot mode. Loaded 10 rounds in the 30 round mag and single shot worked perfectly again. Loaded 30 rounds and sent 3/4 round bursts until mag was empty and the rifle works great. Kicking the brass out forwards 2-4 meters. I’m glad the rifle works but can’t for the life of me figure how a twenty round mag could cause the rifle to dump the whole mag. I tried two different 20 round mags and had the same problem with both. Can’t see the mags dragging on anything to create excessive friction. Unless the cartridges in the mag are sitting up to high and somehow rubbing the bottom of the bolt. But I’m not buying that either. I don’t know why the mag would cause runaways. I’m sure someone here that has experience with the bar can explain this to me hopefully. Probably something real simple I’m overlooking. R/s, Hiller............
  19. I’ve got a copy of the base shop data manual but thanx for the offer. Looking for more detail than the shop datebook contains. R/s, Hiller.........
  20. Does anyone here know of the availability of a good repair manual for the bar? I think I already have all the usgi manuals. I'm looking for a good tech manual like the kuhnhausen series of manuals he's published for the m14, 1911, m1 carbine, ect... These manuals have specs and tolerances for every part. The usgi manuals just don't go into enough detail for me. R/s, Hiller..........................
  21. What part is serialized? R/s, Hiller..................
  22. I own a straight up m2 inland. I'll never part with it. Historical, functional, useful, light, tons of parts availability including new 30 round mags. Not some cobbled together last minute under the amnesty deadline piece of crap. well thought out full auto design by gm corp. USGI parts throughout. Not the perfect machine gun. However for the weekend warrior to jungle combat it WILL get the job done. R/s, Hiller.......................
  23. I've seen 2 nice examples sell in the last 12 months. You just have to keep looking. R/s, Hiller......................
