  1. 1st digit is the model designation 1= .45 2= 9mm 3= .380. 2nd digit is year of manufacture ....... your gun was made in 1973
  2. Once the receiver is demilled, it's no longer a firearm ...... so the "once a machine gun, always a machine gun" is out the door. On an MP-43/44, welding up the cutout in the receiver for the FA trip prior to rewelding the rest of the receiver prevents the installation of FA FCG components
  3. Sell the mags seperately on gunjoker....... then sell the upper / lock frame / and lower seperately..... you'll break even at least
  4. I've owned a few of them, and both had the same (potentially dangerous) issue The "shelf" for lack of a better term, in the bottom of the newly manufactured frame, that the bottom of the lock frame bears against, was milled too low ....allowing both guns to unlock prematurely. This resulted in catastrophic results with a Navy Arms "TU-711" .....shattering the bolt stop, cracking the upper/bbl extension, and dumping 3 rounds f/a before leaving the bolt on the floor next to me. A BTC imported gun ("Type 43") had the same issue.... but not as severe. Both also had issues with poorly fitted sears.... the internals are a hodgepodge of C96, M-712, and Chinese made parts of questionable metalurgy I sold them both as parts guns .....and IMHO, they are more "display" items than safe, reliable shooters.
  5. Tell us how that is possible? The MPi -69 is "LES" import marked.....they weren't even in production prior to the '68 cutoff...... the only way it could be transferable would be if it was imported as a pre-may sample, then cut/rewelded domestically prior to '86 Same goes for the MPK Lots of pre-samples floating around mis-labeled as "transferable" ...... most notably Uzis .....could be a nasty surprise for the high bidder when that F4 crosses the examiners desk
  6. A BH-15A1 model number is going to be an early milled SGW lower ..... all of my SGW/Palmetto Armory guns have the same model. Some of the early SGW lowers had fitment issues with uppers, and their exterior appearance left much to be desired, but they work just fine
  7. Is it actually a reweld, or a rewat ? Many rewat Thompsons show evidence of previous welding where the bbl/receiver meet.
  8. It's a parts set for a Rhodesian LDP "Kommando"
  9. Selling off a bit of my firearms literature......and here is a rare one...... Original sales catalogue for the Sola "Super" SMG.....made in Luxembourg. 22 pages with high quality illustrations, photos, sectioned views, and operating / stripping instructions. This one is marked with the label of Sola's London retailer 75.00 shipped (USPS priority mail)
