  5. This is a M60 Dummy gun made using real USGI surplus parts. This is exactly how I received it. The following are USGI , complete, and fully functional - Barrel Assembly - Charging handle - Charging handle guide - Trigger Group - Feed Tray - Ammo Hanger - Top Cover - Handguard - Barrel latch set - Rear Sight - Carry handle - buttstock The receiver is one solid piece which I believe is plastic or some type of composite material. It is marked IRAC 191 (international replica arms company). I am not sure when this gun was made but it was in with a pile of other very very old items. More photos can be provided upon request. Thanks I really appreciate it. I think I have it figured out. Kinda pieced the info together from different sources. I have both Been Saga books but must of overlooked the part about the drums. Does the guy with the intact chests want to sell one. Been looking for 2 more drums and a chest to complete the set. My drums are the early ones that required the winding handle. Thanks Charles @Viking Arms

  12. Would you buy a rewelded receiver

WOW THUMPY< DO YOU LAY AWAKE AT NIGHT TRYING TO FIND THESE THINGS? there is no straight answer when it comes to rewelded ANYTHING much less a firearm. THE KEY TO ANY WELDED REPAIR IS THE QUALITY OF THE REPAIR FIRST. then other factors come into play , like the finishing machine work. lets start here, IF the proper welding procedures were followed and the filler was correct joining properly aligned pieces that remained straight during the process, its possible to end up with the same strength that it had when new. if the weld is not correct then the location of the damage is MOST IMPORTANT and can effect a failure.. a close friend in our "group" put a 3 cut Mk2 .303bren together using a $150.00 sears buzz box. he did 3/8-1/2" welds I would almost call "TACS" to do it. in the middle of the first mag the front half including the barrel went about 3 feet in front of the mount. he did it again and that gun fired more that 20 of those 880 round black steel cans of FN tracer. it would still be going if he was alive. all was done via our buds SOT and legal. I personally have welded well over 100 various weapons including the worst challenge a RUSSIAN DSHK in 1968 that is still running perfect. most the others were sold long ago, but I have never heard of any failures. I still have a milled Russian AK , Chinese Milled AK , Mk1 Bren and maybe more and none have ever faltered or show any sign. Contrary to other opinions, I would never pay ANYTHING for a welded alum receiver like a M-16 . Both an Ar-10 and an M-16 that I owned cracked in the rack ON THE WALL that were put there un damaged. obviously the filler was not the same as the base metal and that was the fault , but I have heard of several guns in the market place that broke from use, even though the receiver is isolated from the main operating parts the vibration is present. about 1999 ATF SIEZED more than 60 post samples from multiple ARIZONA MFG'rs put together by a WIZARD from POLAND because they believed them to be original uncut examples, they were that perfect. they were shipped back to the tech branch and for more than a year and a half tried to prove fraud and conspiracy . all were returned with an apology, BUT as a result they changed the rules about outside people performing work for SOT's if not a full bonified employee of record. besides the above, in my opinion possibly the hardest thing about a cut and welded transferable NFA weapon is establishing a TRUE VALUE. B-4 the ban cut was about 25% an original and hard to move. that is NOT the case now with some rare models selling for the same as an original. 2 years ago a cut and repaired Russian RPD sold for more than $100,000. at auction. a cut and rewelded FG-42 sold for more than $125,000. THUMPY in YOUR case, I would suggest you have an outside expert examine any cut and repaired gun b-4 you commit until you get a little more water under your stern.

  16. 3 CHEERS FOR THE ATTITUDE !, now that you have taken the stand and are determined to hold your ground, have you actually given any thought how you are going to handle yourself and react to the inevitable laws you will be faced with following NOV 4 2020? are you going to dig a hole and bury yourself and wait for them to come or do you plan to just open fire on the trooper with 3 kids that they send to your home some night? the sad thing is, you WILL be forced to react in SOME fashion b=4 its over. they are not stupid enough to attempt any type of mass seizure , most likely they will follow the CALIFORNIA JUSTICE DEPARTMENTS example and pass the law then just wait for the opportunity to visit you for some other reason and then exclaim "oh, by the way" as they did with all the SKS rifles. that type of action avoids giving people that think a certain way a reason to assemble and react negatively. the options available to the governing agency are unlimited and each one will have the same results. what do you say to your children when you leave to go to the square and stand in front of a M-60 TANK? one must come to terms with these thoughts well in advance of any event in order to have any possible positive results when you fail to prevail, because failure is inevitable at least one may manage to score some points that will help the next guy gain just a little bit more than you did when HE fails. only many failures with positive points advancing the cause will be of any help igniting enough folks to finally prevail. thousands will die or be incarcerated b-4 the front line responders refuse to carry out their duty if any do so. have you ever been in contact or observed a law enforcement officer with previous military service and paid close attention to how the interact with the public? if not just hope you don't when its official and you are on the opposite side of the fence from them. in many states they handcuff folks that fail to use a turn signal during a traffic stop and NOBODY says a word of protest or expresses any concern openly. ones dignity , subconscious comfort, well being and general happiness is of no importance ! its all done for THEIR SAFETY and all else be damned. imagine how its handled when they find a WIN 94 30/30 instead of a burned out lamp or drooping license plate? WHAT WILL YOU DO? I watched a 73 year old man with COPD thrown face down in a gravel drive and a knee placed on the back of his head while 2 ex military city police kept him from attempting to get his dog out of his house which had a very small fire only visible by the slight smoke under a wooden wheel chair ramp 6 feet from the house. now add the fact that the reporting neighbors stated "THAT GUY HAS SOME GUNS" WHAT WOULD YOU DO? YOU WONT GIVE THEM UP? they could care less . any type of negative reaction to the LAWS THAT ARE COMING will only get them an increase in the budget to do more.

Death by 1000 cuts... We are living in the Golden Age of firearm ownership. Just take a look at NFA ... disfunctional by design... UnConstitutional Communist Infiltration... OUR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. The only way Citizens will be able to own firearms in the future, is if all Rule of law is lost. Low flying lead will begin when your money is worthless.
